As you start a new happiness and health habit, look at the compelling and logical rationale for sticking it. You will also get satisfaction from measuring and tracking your progress.

Pay attention to your internal sense of what to do and the consequences of making a change to improve your health. Consider how you can most efficiently improve your health and happiness? What will get the job done? Schedule a precise action plan with all steps outlined that will lead to your intended outcomes. Increase your sense of competency, with successive challenges. Read the plan aloud to a buddy or coach to confirm that all of the steps are appropriate order to give you a sense of accomplishment and mastery. With your personality type, you might do well participating in competitions.

Let’s look at some examples of using your strengths to support healthy eating: 1) develop a system for grocery shopping that helps you easily find the healthy items, 2) use a system that rates the nutritional value of grocery store items, 3) check websites that list ingredients of restaurant menu items.

When confronted with challenges analyze the approach you used. Was there something you knew was bound to get in the way? What did you learn?How can you revise the plan to get this part of your life settled in the way you intended? Look at ways your life can be adjusted to support your health goals most effectively.
